I'm a Pet and Wildlife coloured pencil artist based in Kingston Upon Hull, East Yorkshire, UK.

Working from a selection of your photos I create highly detailed and realistic drawings.

I pride myself on attention to detail, ensuring each portrait is a unique and one-of-a-kind original. Whether young, old, or over the rainbow bridge, a pet portrait is a great way to value the special relationship you and your pet have, and hopefully bring you many happy memories for years to come!

The supplies I use are professional standards with archival quality that will not fail to impress!

Some of these include;  Fabercastell polychromos and Caran Dach'e Luminence colour pencils. These are oil-based pencils, which have a very high light-fastness rating.

My choice of paper is Fabriano Artistico Hot Pressed 300gsm acid-free.

Collaborations

I frequently collaborate with Anna Kulberg's Coloured Pencil Magazine, one of my most recent features highlights my Fox Cubs original portrait.

Below is a step by step blog post 'How to Create Fur Highlights using a Ceramic Blade Tool.'

I recently wrote an article for Ann Kullberg's Color Magazine, which is now available in the April 2025 issue!

This features a step by step exercise on how to draw whiskers using a stylus, I'm really thrilled to be able to feature with so many amazing artists that I've followed for years!
